Housing Lottery System FFXIV
Patch 6.1 will go live in mid-April. The lottery system will apply to all plots of land that are available for sale. This is also the time when The Empyreum housing area in Ishgard will be launched. It will include 48 wards and 24 main wards as well as 24 subdivisions. To access this district, you will need to complete the quest “Ascending into Empyreum”.
The number will be drawn and players can then claim their piece of land. You will need to interact and place a placard in front of a plot that is available for sale to be eligible to win the lottery. To purchase a plot you will need to pay upfront . Make sure you have enough gil. You will receive your gil back if you don’t win the lottery.
The nine-day cycle of the housing plot lottery is in effect. The first five days are the deadline for players to submit their entries to the lottery. After the five-day period ends The next four days are the results period. This is where winners of the lottery must claim their prize and complete their purchase. After that, another lottery cycle will start.
