WWE 2K22: The Roster’s Biggest Wrestlers

WWE 2K22 boasts one of the largest rosters in any wrestling game, almost too large because the real-life roster has been decimated by releases over the past year. However, there are still many big names missing from 2K22’s roster.

Here is a list of WWE 2K22’s most prominent wrestlers:

– Adam Cole- Bron Breakker
– Carmelo Hayes
Commander Azeez
– Daniel Bryan
Dewdrop
Grayson Waller
Harland
– Ilja Dragunov
Madcap Moss
– Olmos
– Paige
Rick Boogs
– Zelina Vega

Paige and Daniel Bryan are not with the company as wrestlers anymore, but it’s a strange oversight. Paige was forced to retire, but she is still on the books. So having her on 2K22’s roster would be a good compromise. Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan are unlikely to be included, as they’re currently with AEW. But what about Keith Lee and Kyle O’Reilly? Both have not made the jump yet but are still in the game.

Some made their debuts too late to scan in time for scanning, like Rick Boogs or Brom Breaker. The vast majority of NXT 2.0’s roster is missing. The most bizarre exclusion is Ilja Dragunov (current NXT UK champion), whose moveset was already recorded for the game.

Expect most of these wrestlers to be added in paid DLC, as with WWE 2K releases. We might also see more legends such as Kurt Angle and Rick Rude, Mick Foley (and all his faces), Dusty Rhodes, among others. WWE 2K22 could also see new wrestlers in WWE, including those who have yet to make their debut (or re-debut) in the next game. 2K22 is bound to receive a lot of DLC.
