THE SETTLERS RELEASE DATE IS NO LONGER LINKED FOR MARCH
Ubisoft, the publisher and developer, announced earlier this year that The Settlers had set its release time for the second half of March. It was delayed twice after its 2019 unveiling, and now it is being delayed again until March 2022.
According to the publisher, The Settlers “combines an innovative take on the familiar gameplay mechanics of this series with a new spin”. It is true to its roots in real-time strategy and requires players to set up an economy that can be supported by stable infrastructure and build up an army for attacking their enemies.
Each of the 3 factions, Elari, Maru, and Jorn, has its appearance, playstyle, particular military unit, and backstory.
Before starting the story campaign or Onslaught modes, players can review the title’s mechanics in the tutorial. “
Multiplayer skirmishes can also be confirmed. They support up to 8 players regardless of whether they are human or AI-controlled.
You’ll need to ensure that your settlements have steady resources. Additionally, you will research upgrades and learn how to deal with different biomes.
The Settlers closed beta was scheduled for January 20-24, giving lucky players the chance to play the game before its launch.
The publisher decided on March 3 to push The Settler’s launch “to another date,” without sharing any details about when.
“As our team went through feedback it became apparent that the quality was not yet in line with our vision,” says in a statement posted via Twitter.
“The extra time will be used for further improvement of the game and pushing quality as our primary priority for all players. “
The release date for Settlers is unknown at this time. The title will be made available for PC via Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store.
