JURASSIC EVOLUTION 2 CAMP CRETACEOUS DINOSAUR PAC DLC GETS MARCH RELEASE DATE
Frontier Developments, publisher and developer, today announced Jurassic World Evolution 2: Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack, the next DLC to last year’s park administration sim. It has been delayed until March and introduces new dinosaurs for players to look after, as well as a new set of skins.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack was inspired by animated Netflix series. It expands the game’s roster of creatures with two completely new dinosaurs and two new species variants. There are also eight skins.
The first hybrid Dr Wu created, the Scorpios Rex, has blood-red eyes and uneven, jagged teeth that immediately tell you that it is an aggressive carnivore that should be feared.
Monolophosaurus is another new dino species, and it’s also a carnivore. It only dates back to the mid-Jurassic Period and has a single crest that can amplify its roars. Each species has its own needs and behaviours, presenting a new challenge to players.
The Jurassic World Evolution 2 Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack adds two more herbivore varieties: the Ouranosaurus (and the Kentrosaurus).
The former is described as a “peaceful and herd-dwelling herbivore with characteristic high spines that are sureto capture the attention park guests,”. In contrast, the latter’s “lethal-looking spikes” serve a solely defensive function.
The DLC introduces eight new skins, including two glow in the dark additions that were inspired by Parasaurolophus Lux.
It also includes a free update, which brings species viewer, first-person mode, new decoration items (like individually placed trees), and various changes to the sandbox mode content.
Jurassic World Evolution 2: Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack has locked down its release date to March 8, when it arrives on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 for the price of PS7.99/$9.99/EUR9.99.
