February 17, 2017 Update: Shop Changes and Login Rewards for YuGiOh Master Duel

A new update for YuGiOh Master Duel was released earlier today. It includes several changes to the monetization process. Master Duel is Konami’s latest hit game. However, despite having launched on several platforms, Konami has not figured out how to monetize the game. Developers are making the game more affordable by offering pre-built decks that can be purchased in the Shop.

What can you expect from the February 17 Update of YuGiOh Master Duel?

The Rage of Cipher deck has been added. This deck is based on XYZ. It is currently under evaluation but will be made available for the XYZ Event. The shop also has new items that players can buy. The update does not include new cards, but Konami will likely add more expansions to the shop in future updates. This is similar to the expansions Konami receives for physical card games.
