The Witcher 3 Game Director has launched a new studio, Rebel Wolves.
Konrad Tomaszkiewicz is best known as the game director for The Witcher 3 at CD Projekt Red. He has now launched a new studio. He’ll be calling himself the Rebel Wolves and will act as CEO to lead a team that previously worked on Cyberpunk 2077. Shadow Warrior 2 and Thronebreaker.
Rebel Wolves is currently working on their first project: a dark fantasy RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. Tomaszkiewicz, GamesIndustry.Biz, stated:
The Witcher 3 Game Director has launched a new studio, Rebel Wolves.
After being accused of workplace bullying, Tomaszkiewicz left CD Projekt Red in the first place. Although he was found innocent by CDPR, Tomaszkiewicz decided to resign, saying that “a lot people are feeling fear and stress when they work with me.”
The game’s name and trailer are still unknown. However, Rebel Wolves’ concept art can be found above. This will be the first installment in a planned series. It’ll launch on PC and new-generation consoles. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about the upcoming project.
