The switch from Verdansk to the Pacific island Caldera was met with mixed reactions by the Warzone community. Some people enjoyed the new map while others found it boring.

With Season2 looming, players hope that extra development time will address several game-breaking issues which have negatively affected the battle royale during Season 1.

Raven Software has confirmed that Caldera will see some changes in the next major update, despite not having any information.

Warzone Pacific Caldera Map Changes

Players have noticed numerous problems with Caldera in recent weeks. These issues range from invisible structures to Loadout Drops disappearing under. This latest discovery is a series of structures that do not match the map, causing a lot of confusion. Raven Software quickly responded by teasing some changes to different areas of the map.

Instead of the problem of buildings adding to the long list of problems, it seems that Caldera’s small sections are being modified to speed up matches and not add any new points of interest (POI). It will be interesting to observe how the layout changes with most POIs located at the edges of the map.

Warzone Season 2: Will there be new POIs?

While there is every possibility that a new POI will be introduced in Caldera during the Pacific era, Raven Software seems to be focusing on minor improvements for now. Keep your eyes open for teasers as Season 2 draws near.
