HORIZON CALL of the MOUNTAIN PC RELEASED DATE – WHAT CAN YOU KNOW
The Horizon Call of the Mountain’s announcement was made at Sony’s CES 2022 press event. It piqued gamers’ curiosity looking to delve deeper into the world Aloy first explored. Many wonders if this new game will be released on PC, considering the first entry to the series was removed from the PS4’s exclusive list last year.
Horizon Call of the Mountain, co-developed by Firesprite and Guerrilla, was revealed at the same moment as the PlayStation VR2. Jan-Bart Van Beek, Studio Director, referred to these titles as “one of the first games that were built from scratch for PlayStations’ next-generation VR hardware.” “
Horizon Call of the Mountain’s teaser featured gameplay on PS5. This, along with other platforms not being mentioned, suggests that a PC release date might not be in the cards for Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Compatibility with PC for the PS VR2 is also unlikely, at least not if you don’t rely on third-party software. This further suggests that the game will be part of the initial push to sell PS VR2.
It remains to be determined if Horizon Call of the Mountain will receive a PC release date. The game and Sony’s VR headsets are still in the early stages. Things can change.
