New Fortnite Winterfest gifts by Spider-Man’s JMJ
UPDATE — December 30, 2021: Many players are reporting a glitch that allows you to open 1 gift at Crackshot’s Lodge despite already having opened 14 of them. However, the MJ reveal still appears sporadically. These are screenshots of gifts that can be opened in-game. They are simply redesigned versions of the original gifts and marked “Already opened.” There could have been an original MJ gift that was to be given during Winterfest, but it was scrapped and an older graphic was accidentally released. It is possible that this gift design will still be available in the game so we can hope for an unexpected Spider-Man gift.
Fortnite players have the opportunity to receive daily cosmetic items as gifts from Crackshot’s Lodge during Winterfest. All gifts are now openable as of December 29, 2021. However, a glitch revealed that there may be a new stack of gifts coming soon.
Zhao and Shiina revealed that all cabin gifts would be from Spider-Man’s MMJ. The Winterfest event was over and the gift was available, but instead, they showed a variety of colored gifts from a variety of in-game characters. The MJ gifts weren’t found and the Matrix Sentinel Glider was the only collaboration gift. Today, December 29th, 2021, Crackshot’s Cabin was filled with red and bleu gifts, all labeled from MJ.
Fortnite Downtime for MJ Update
This reveal took place during server downtime that had been causing problems for some Fortnite users to log in or get into match lobbies. Crackshot’s cabin could be updated to explain the downtime. It is not the normal time for Fortnite updates, and players haven’t had enough time to claim their final Winterfest gift for Day 14. This and the fact we now see the standard gift area again suggests that this was a mistake and that the MJ gifts were not released in time.
Fortnite Winterfest: MJ Spider-Man gifts
Although we don’t know the contents of the MJ gifts at this time, we are pretty certain that they will be arriving, as we have seen them in-game. We can assume they will be Spider-Man-themed, which adds to the incredible Spider-Man and Peter Parker collection.
We’ll update you immediately as soon as we learn more about this exciting development. However, we can only hope that MJs gifts get to us soon. Maybe December 30, 2021, after the original 14 Winterfest gift day.
