Mass Uninstallations Are “Literally Unplayable” Updates to ‘Warzone’ and ‘Modern Warfare’ ‘Warzone’
Call of Duty fans is tired and frustrated at the state of multiple Call Of Duty games over the last few days.
Duty: Modern Warfare and Duty: Warzone is facing the most serious issues at the moment. Many players have decided to uninstall the games because of unexpected crashes, long queues, and an annoying bug that causes shooters to get stuck in a loop between the loading screen and the home menu.
Activision stated that they are working to resolve an issue that causes players to be caught in an update loop. The issue is primarily affecting Xbox One and PS4 players. “In some cases, it appears that the game is uninstalling and then reinstalling its game data.”
Many players are calling Modern Warfare “broken.” Many users are having trouble downloading updates, leaving them unable to play the game. Bugs and crashes plague those who do manage to get in.

Warzone is doing slightly better technically, but players still have issues with the recent holiday update. The battle royale has been given a Krampus killer by developers that seem to have created more problems and drawn criticism. Raven Software added a silly monster to Warzone, but bigger issues must be addressed.

Activision has not acknowledged this to its development studios.”It is not a coincidence that these games are in such bad shape when Activision is facing mass developer walkouts over its questionable leadership, harassment claims, and recent mass firings from Raven Software’s Quality Assurance department. Ironically, QA could be a real asset to the company right now.
