Pokemon Go Mountains of Power Event Announced
The next phase of the Season of Heritage is now available.
The Heritage Pokemon Go is happening over three months: December, January, and February. New events and Pokemon rotations are announced each month. January’s event, Mountains of Power, has been announced. This will prepare us to help Spark open part two of the Mysterious Door.
What is the Season of Heritage, you ask?
Pokemon Go recently launched its in-game Seasons. The Season of Mischief is the first. These longer events have themed Pokemon rotations, events, and other bonuses. The Season of Heritage, the newest Pokemon Go season, will run until February. It may include the likes of dragons and fossils in celebration of the Pokemon Legends Arceus game.
What are Mountains of Power?
We helped Blanche open the mysterious door to the Season of Heritage by collecting Stardust. This led to the Dragonspiral Descent event with Druddigon. We don’t know much about the January event. Other than the fact that it is called Mountains of Power, we will be collecting XP throughout the month, similar to Stardust in December.
We hope that with Mountains of Power being January’s equivalent of Dragonspiral Descent, we will see another Pokemon added to Pokemon Go. However, we will need to wait to find out more details.
What year are Mountains of Power?
The Mountains of Power will be held between January 7th and 13th, 2022, at 10:00 am local time, and January 13th-2022 at 8 PM local time.
As we work with Candela, Team Mystic’s leader, the final part of Season of Heritage will begin in February. When more information becomes available, we’ll keep you informed. In the meantime, enjoy January’s events!
