Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Rollback Netcode Could Come With Remastered Rerelease
Kazuhisa Wada, Persona Team’s creative director and producer, suggested that the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Remaster might receive rollback netcode upon its launch. This news was revealed in an interview published in Famitsu magazine this week, translated by Persona Central.
Wada stated that rollback netcode would not be available for the game’s March 2022 release. Many fans were disappointed by this development, as it would have allowed players to enjoy better online multiplayer experiences.

Rollback netcode will not be available at launch. However, the developers confirmed that the rereleased game would be the final version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. This definitive edition will include all previous Persona 4 Arena Ultimax content, including the original P4A story.
The team also confirmed that the game would be released with Shadow versions of characters, which provide a variety of fighting styles.
