Gnosis, one of 2021’s Most Underrated Games, has been delayed on PC

Gnosis is Playism’s single-player social deduction/visual novel. It launched earlier this year on Switch. The studio has now confirmed that it will not be releasing the game on its original 2021 release date. This is a fair statement considering that the new year is only ten days away.

Playism announced this in a posting on its website. It now projects Gnosia launch on Steam “early” in 2022. The full statement, as translated by, reads like this:

We have moved the release date for Gnosia to early 2022. The Steam version was originally scheduled to be released in 2021.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to those who were waiting for this release. When the release date has been determined, we will announce again. Please stay tuned.

I Gnosis the day it arrived on Switch in March. Despite my frustrations at its social deduction, I enjoyed many of the overall mysteries. It has been a long time since I played the game, and it is now one of my favorite games of all time. The game’s looping roguelike elements make it a great choice for handheld play. However, assuming that the port is solid enough, the PC should work fine even if you don’t have Nintendo’s system. There’s also the Steamdeck.
