Leaker Reveals Weapon Animations for Vanguard Weapons
Season 1 Call of Duty Vanguard is in full swing. However, one thing has been missing from this latest World War 2 shooter. Modern Warfare’s 2019 launch has allowed players to inspect their weapons with the weapon inspection mechanic, which is unavailable in the latest Sledgehammer Games title.
It’s only a cosmetic feature, but players want it back. A recent leak suggests that they might be in luck. Weapon inspection could soon be possible if the in-game files can be believed.
These leaks are from @ZestyCODLeaks, a notable data miner who has a track record of uncovering unreleased content within Call of Duty titles. The leaker discovered the weapon inspection animation for the Automaton assault rifle.
This short clip shows the player modeling adjusting the magazine of his rifle before it returns to its normal shooting position. Animations for the Automaton and Katana melee weapons have also been found.
Vanguard Weapon Inspect Release date
Leaks are to be taken with a grain of salt, but these animations were found in Vanguard’s files, so there is every chance they’ll be appearing soon. We expect them to arrive halfway in Season 1, where a “Reloaded” update might be available.
