6 FUN FESTIVE IN-GAME EVENTS
It’s colder, and you have to wrap presents, as well as spend time with family members far away. These games have fun and new additions for this holiday season, with their unique ways to celebrate. There are many options for game modes and cosmetics. It’s the season for joy.
These are six festive and fun in-game events that will get you in the holiday spirit.
ANIMAL CROSSING NEW HORIZON – TOY DAY
Enjoy holiday fun with your favourite villager! Animals Crossing’s Toy Day was introduced with the Version 1.6 update. This brought a variety of new content to celebrate the holiday season. You can unlock festive goodies by helping Jingle the reindeer deliver gifts to your villager. These goodies include a wrap paper recipe, festive stocking and even a sleigh full of toys!
These add an extra layer of joy to your island. When I start handing out gifts, I see the unique reactions of my islanders. It is an amazing sight. This further reinforces Animal Crossing‘s reputation as a game that can lift your spirits no matter what season while offering the most relaxing and wholesome games.
It also adds snow, lights, and decorations to your island, making it even more fun.
FORTNITE – WINTERFEST
Fortnite has likely one final gift for 2021, Winterfeast, despite having had a busy year. We were also treated to various limited-time modes (LTMs) last year. We also received some new challenges this year, including skins, back bling, and gilder. You can also open daily presents at Winterfest Lodge to get even more goodies.
Although I am not the most avid Fortnite user, I cannot deny that there is much content available for players. LTMs provide new and exciting modes that are both rewarding and fresh. You will find that there are more challenges and more depth. Fortnite’s rewards are numerous and, in true Fortnite fashion, are unique and detailed. They are well worth the effort. Fortnite is doing more with festive magic. What more could you want?
Fortnite’s Winterfest might not be happening as soon as we release Chapter 3. of Fortnite. It won’t take too long, though, as last year’s event started on December 18. There are a few skin packs available in the in-game shop to offer some frosty outfits.
VALORANT – THE SNOWBALL FIGHT
This festive offer is a great choice for hardcore and intense shooter. This entry is mainly about a limited-time snowball fight mode. There’s not much to be said. This mode allows players to compete in a team deathmatch, armed with unlimited snowballs. Players swap the cautionary Valorant tactics for a lighter-paced, more fun romp in this mode. You will be rewarded with cosmetics and other items for your efforts.

This entry is not my favourite, but it’s a refreshing change from the competitive shooter atmosphere. The store has new weapon skins that can be purchased for a small fee. Other than these, I don’t have much to add to this entry except that it’s an extra bonus for those who truly enjoy Valorant. Valorant is a great competitor.
It is a great way to celebrate holidays and can break up more intense matches.
FFXIV ONLINE- STARLIGHT CELEBRATION
Now Endwalker is finally available, players are flocking towards this immensely popular MMO. It’s the perfect moment to get in, as the seasonal event is right around the corner.
There are many holiday-themed items that you can collect in addition to seasonal quests. These range from furniture to furnish your in-game accommodations to the latest year’s collection of mounts and furry friends.

FFXIV has many great events and is an amazing game. The already excellent gameplay and style of Final Fantasy make it even more enjoyable. You also have one the most welcoming and friendly communities to celebrate with. Some players even started their own event, ” Grand Starlight giveaway”, which was an in-game Santa’s Grotto with music, giveaways, and elves. This is so cool! !
DESTINY 2: NEW LIGHT – THE DAWNING
It’s now time to cheer on others and grab some gear. Destiny2 offers a lot of content for players (sometimes a bit too much). This seasonal event offers players a lot of content that they can enjoy and engage in. You can give away delicious baked goods to the vendors, take on new bounties, and unlock a variety of new items and gear. Players were able to unlock the legendary Fusion Rifle, an elf-themed Ghost Shell, Unique Sparrows, as well as an Exotic ship that allows for a lot of customization including engine effects and animated shading.
