A datamine from Elden Ring teases some plot points in the game’s story
The new Elden Ring datamine seems to be teasering the forthcoming campaign of the game. Although there aren’t any spoilers, the infographic from datamine shows other sci-fi and fantasy games that may give us an idea of what we can expect from the game.

Elden Ring Datamine
You can view an Elden Ring datamine on Reddit. Although almost all datamines can be used as evidence of game content, this one feels like a meme. You can find plenty of content that showcases imagery from other games. It looks exactly as you’d expect with the forests and dark grittiness of From Software games, as well big plate armor.
The 2nd part of the game is interesting. The dataminer showed pictures of Halo Infinite and other sci-fi-themed content, including the Death Star, Armored Core 4 and Halo Infinite. These bits make the datamine seem a bit like a meme to troll Reddit and us at WePC.
What if this is true? Or is it a teaser? Perhaps the Halo Infinite refers to the open-world aspect. Perhaps the Armored Core 4 mech refers to Final Fantasy. There are elements of sci-fi but the game feels more fantasy than Final Fantasy. The Death Star-wielding robot from broken space may be a reference to the Elden Ring’s collapse. The last picture shows standard sci-fi plate armour; perhaps it’s a transition from the gothic to something more powerful and enchanted?
Reddit and 4chan users think the game might have a sci-fi twist. George R.R Martin is the one behind the game’s legend, and many theories suggest that his Song of Ice and Fire series contains sci-fi elements and prophecy ideas. Consider why there are never any winters, and why one winter lasts for years. The orbit of the planet in GoT must be extremely dangerous. Tangent aside, there is always the possibility that they could embed some of his theories in this game and see how it goes.
It is also worth noting that Elden Ring datamines or leaks could continue to increase. Whatifgaming first reported the firmware breach that occurred on the PS4. This could indicate that content may be being mined from the CBT tests . It could be this or something else. It’s possible it could be from this, or something else.
