Ten years after its original launch, Warhammer Space Marine 2 was confirmed.
After more than ten years of waiting, we finally have a Warhammer Space Marine 2. Focus Home Interactive has revealed the sequel to Warhammer Space Marine 2, one of the most successful games ever launched under the Warhammer IP.
Warhammer Space Marine 2 game
Focus Home and Saber Interactive unveiled Space Marine 2, their new game, at The Game Awards. The game follows the original game’s storyline, and Captain Titus, the Ultramire squad leader, commands the return to Tyrranid-infested worlds. We know that the Imperial Guard (or Astra Militarum, as the licensing has changed since the original game) is defending their planet against the Tyrranid swarm. The horde Hormagaunts, Carnifex, and their overrun of the town’s center seem to have taken everything.
The trailer also shows us some of the Space Marine 2 gameplay. This trailer shows the same gameplay as Space Marine 1. It features the third-person shooter gameplay with gunplay and Ultramire hacking, slashing and traversing Hormagaunts.

The release date for Space Marine 2
Many people are asking this question to answer it here. Space Marine 2 is not yet available for release. It is marked TBD on the official website. We may see a launch in 2022, but we could also expect a release in early 2023, as we have seen other big announcements at the Game Awards.
