Paradise Killer Devis are Collaborating With Ikumi Nagamura on…Something?
Kaizen Game Works, which is behind the open-world murder mystery Paradise Killer, launched last year. It has now announced that it will be working with Ikumi Nagamura. She is well-known for her artistic contributions to games such as Bayonetta, Okami and The Evil Within. It’s not clear what it is. We can only speculate at the moment because we are limited to a few social media posts by Kaizen Game Works and Nakamura.
Nakamura was the first to show a care package with snacks that had been sent by Kaizen Game Works. Although she doesn’t give any details about what project they are working on, she says that it has taught her a lot about the importance to go back to basics.

Kaizen Game Works replied with a tweet from its own. It stated that the team and Nakamura were “making something incredible together” and was eager to share more. The collaboration between the studio and Nakamura brings a variety of skills and interests to the table. Paradise Killer was renowned for its design when it launched last. I’m eager to see what Nakamura brings to the table. It seems unlikely that Kaizen Game Works will be developing a sequel to Paradise Killer , considering that Paradise Killer was almost over (should you solve the mystery at its core). It’s unlikely that any speculation I can offer you will be close to what’s actually in the works.
Following her departure from Tango Gameworks, Nakamura is now the head of her own independent developer. Before leaving Tango Gameworks in 2019, she was the creative director at Ghostwire Tokyo.
