Street Legal Racing Redline, a racing game by Invictus, is published by Activision Value. The game takes place at Valo City, possibly a play on “velocity”, a city known for its extensive illegal street racing underworld. The goal of the game is win every club and meet the requirements to enter Race of Champions, which is a highly prestigious racing competition in which one can win a bonus vehicle. For prestige (respect), or money to customize the car, players must race other players on the streets.
Players can watch or take part in drag racing against other drivers during the night. The new race tracks allow players to race against AI’s on the track in order to win prizes. The game’s unique feature is the ability to customize the vehicles.
You can either buy a brand new car at the dealership or a used car from your local shop. Or you can build it from scratch using a chassis. The consequences of crashing a car are much more severe than in traditional street racing video games. Each part must be replaced manually.
