Since the worldwide fallout surrounding the US government’s Huawei ban continues, Google has released a post warning users of their inherent risks of sideloading its programs and services on the Chinese manufacturer’s apparatus.
Based on Google, any Huawei apparatus launched following the above mentioned date hasn’t obtained Play Protect certificate , meaning any”sideloaded Google programs won’t work reliably because we don’t permit these services to operate on uncertified apparatus where safety might be compromised.
The Android manufacturer warns that sideloading its providers “also carries a higher risk of installing a program that’s been modified or tampered with in a way that may compromise security”
Fortunately, All present Huawei devices released earlier this day will be in complete compliance with Google’s certificate procedure, so they’ll continue to obtain support and security updates for”so long as it’s permitted.”
