The Chinese phone maker went with the “simple yet to-the-point” option after seeking ideas from the fans last year.
OnePlus searched ideas to the name of its smart TV from enthusiasts soon after revealing its plans to enter that market last September. It declared its decision Wednesday in its discussion : OnePlus TV. Along with this”simple yet to-the-point” title, the Chinese firm opted for a simple logo, by adding”TV” to its normal symbol.
“We believe there is no Other title that can best represent our worth, vision and pride than naming it using our own brand,” a spokesperson wrote.
The post did not hint in the OnePlus TV’s launch date, but The Next Web reports it will launch in September. OnePlus didn’t immediately respond to a request for additional comment.
Earlier this month, MySmartPrice emphasized A Bluetooth SIG record that refers to OnePlus’ offering as a “unique Android TV” that utilizes an LED display, instead of OLED, along with traces That it’ll vary in size from 43 to 75 inches.
