Xbox Launches Buy One, Get One Free Sale for May 2025
Microsoft has kicked off a new Buy One, Get One Free (BOGOF) sale for Xbox users this May, offering great deals on a variety of sports, racing games, and downloadable content. This latest promotion follows a string of similar sales earlier in the year, including April’s Buy One, Get Four Free LEGO game deal.
The May BOGOF sale includes popular titles like *MLB: The Show* 22, 23, and 24, along with the Digital + Deluxe and MVP Editions of the latest release. Other featured games include *MotoGP 21*, *Monster Jam Steel Titans 2*, *Thunder Ray*, *Rogue Flight*, *Smurfs Kart*, and more.
Racing fans can also take advantage of discounts on *The Crew Motorfest*, with the Year 1 Pass, Year 2 Pass, and Deluxe Edition included in the offer. Additional racing games like *Turbo Golf Racing*, *Riptide GP: Renegade*, and *SBK 22* are also part of the deal.
This limited-time sale runs through Tuesday, May 20, and stacks with Xbox’s usual weekly deals.
In other Xbox news, Game Pass is seeing some changes. While *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33* launched on day one through the service, five games are leaving in May, including *Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons* and *Chants of Sennaar*. Titles like *Jurassic World Evolution 2*, *Little Kitty, Big City*, and *Planet of Lana* will remain available for now.
This sale comes amid a broader backdrop of industry challenges, as Microsoft recently announced layoffs affecting 3% of its workforce, reflecting ongoing struggles across the gaming sector.
