Arrowhead Plans Tweaks to Super Credit System in Helldivers 2
Arrowhead Game Studios has announced plans to adjust how players earn Super Credits in *Helldivers 2*. The changes aim to prevent players from grinding low-difficulty missions (levels 1–3) just to collect the in-game currency.
The update was confirmed by Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani during a discussion on the game’s official Discord channel. He said the studio is working on a better system to help players earn Super Credits more fairly, without relying on repetitive farming. While details and a timeline were not shared, Jorjani emphasized that the studio wants to take a careful approach and gather player feedback before making changes.
Super Credits are used in the Warbond system, which works like a battle pass, letting players unlock cosmetics, gear, and upgrades. While players can purchase Super Credits with real money, they can also earn them through gameplay — although they’re currently rare.
Jorjani also touched on the broader monetization approach, stating that Arrowhead is committed to avoiding overwhelming players with paid content and wants to keep the game enjoyable without requiring payment.
In response to another question, Jorjani hinted that Warbond pricing and related systems may also see changes in the future. For now, players can look forward to the *Masters of Ceremony* Premium Warbond, launching May 15 on PS5 and PC.
