Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Devs Confirm No DLC Plans, Focus on Improvements
Sandfall Interactive has confirmed that *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33* will not be receiving any DLC in the near future. In an interview with *The Washington Post*, studio co-founders Guillaume Broche and Tom Guillermin stated the team is currently focused on improving the base game rather than developing new content.
The dark fantasy RPG has been a breakout hit, blending turn-based and real-time combat with a powerful narrative about mortality and loss. Since launch, it has sold over 2 million copies in just 12 days, with physical editions selling out rapidly—some even appearing on resale sites for over \$1,400.
Although there are no plans for DLC, the developers are continuing to update the game. A recent patch nerfed Maelle’s Stendhal skill, which previously allowed for damage in the billions, creating imbalance among builds.
Fans eager for new content may have to wait, but Sandfall’s commitment to polishing the game ensures that *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33* will continue to evolve.
