Lost Soul Aside Delayed to August 29, 2025
Action RPG *Lost Soul Aside* has officially been delayed, with a new release date set for August 29, 2025. Originally scheduled to launch on May 30, the game will now arrive three months later for PlayStation 5 and PC.
Developed by Ultizero Games and backed by Sony’s China Hero Project, *Lost Soul Aside* has been in development since 2014 and was first revealed in 2016. In a recent announcement, Ultizero Games CEO Yang Bing confirmed the delay, stating the extra time will be used to further polish the game and meet internal quality standards.
Despite the setback, fan reaction has been mostly positive. Many welcomed the decision, appreciating the studio’s focus on quality. Some also noted that avoiding the crowded May release window—which includes titles like *Elden Ring: Nightreign* and *Mario Kart World*—could benefit the game.
With high expectations following the success of other Chinese-developed titles like *Black Myth: Wukong*, *Lost Soul Aside* continues to build anticipation ahead of its new August release.
