Indie horror title *Post Trauma* will get a second chance to shine, with publisher Raw Fury announcing a re-release for June 23. The game’s original launch on April 22 was unfortunately overshadowed by the surprise release of *The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered* on the same day.
Inspired by PS2-era horror classics like *Silent Hill 2* and *Fatal Frame 2*, *Post Trauma* combines fixed and dynamic camera angles, puzzle-solving, and retro visuals to deliver a nostalgic yet fresh horror experience. Despite being well-received—holding “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam—the game’s visibility took a hit due to Bethesda’s unexpected remaster drop.
In a lighthearted video shared on social media, Raw Fury joked about the timing mishap and confirmed the June 23 “spiritual re-release,” which will include giveaways, streams, and other community events. Developers encouraged fans to join in “once you’re done with *Oblivion*,” as shown humorously with devs playing the remaster in the announcement clip.
While *Post Trauma* remains available now, the upcoming re-release aims to give it the spotlight it missed the first time around.
