Fortnite’s Krang Android Skin Includes Hidden Style—But There’s a Catch
Fortnite’s latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover has added several new skins to the Item Shop, including the villainous *Krang’s Android*—and fans have discovered it includes a secret style.
Released on April 22 with the final update of Chapter 6 Season 2, *Krang’s Android* is available for 1,600 V-Bucks. The bundle includes the skin, a LEGO style, Krang’s War Cry emote, and the Dimension Axe pickaxe. However, there’s an extra surprise for longtime players: a hidden variant of the skin that changes how Krang is displayed.
To unlock the secret style, players must equip the *Krang* back bling while wearing the *Krang’s Android* skin. Doing so moves Krang from the android’s stomach to its back and closes the front hatch. The catch? The Krang back bling was only available through the Cowabunga event pass in February 2024, which required players to complete quests tied to Splinter’s Plan.
Although the secret style is currently limited to those who earned the back bling last year, Fortnite fans may get another shot. Epic Games has confirmed that past event rewards can return to the Item Shop in the future.
For now, those hoping to unlock the full potential of Krang’s Android may need to wait—or keep an eye on upcoming shop rotations.
