Diablo 4 Introduces New Battle Pass System for Season 8

Blizzard has revealed a major overhaul to Diablo 4’s battle pass system, launching with Season 8 on April 29. The new system, called **Reliquaries**, replaces the traditional tier-based structure and allows players to unlock rewards in any order using Favor Tokens earned through gameplay.

There will be **four Reliquaries** available in Season 8:

– **Belial’s Return** *(Free)*: Includes a Town Portal cosmetic, weapon and horse cosmetics, Platinum, and bonus gloves from the *Guise of the Deceiver* armor set.
– **Weapons Reliquary** *(200 Platinum)*: Offers weapon cosmetics for each class and boots from the *Guise of the Deceiver* set.
– **Beasts Reliquary** *(500 Platinum)*: Features mounts, mount cosmetics, a pet, and the legs of the armor set.
– **Armor Reliquary** *(800 Platinum)*: Contains armor sets for all classes, a Town Portal cosmetic, and the chest and helm from the *Guise of the Deceiver* set.

Players can also purchase a **Deluxe Bundle** for 2,800 Platinum, which includes all three paid Reliquaries, the full *Guise of the Deceiver* armor set, *Deceiver’s Final Form* wings for each class, and the *Orinocta* owl pet.

This new format allows players to focus on the rewards they want most and adds flexibility compared to previous seasons. Each completed Reliquary grants a bonus item — a piece of the exclusive *Guise of the Deceiver* set, which features a dark, horned design with golden claws.

Season 8 will also bring the return of **Belial**, new Unique items, Legendary Aspects for each class, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements. Blizzard also teased limited-time Reliquaries tied to upcoming events and crossovers, including one with the *Berserk* franchise.
