Dark Souls Remastered Gets Seamless Co-Op Thanks to New Mod

A new mod has finally brought seamless co-op to *Dark Souls Remastered*, allowing players to journey through the entire game together without interruption. Released on **April 10** by well-known modder **Yui**, the mod quickly gained popularity, with over **12,000 downloads** in its first 72 hours on Nexus Mods.

Unlike the base game’s limited co-op, this mod lets multiplayer parties stay connected across all areas, boss fights, and even player deaths. That means friends can now experience *Dark Souls Remastered* from start to finish in one uninterrupted session.

Key Features:
– **Full-game co-op**: Stay linked with friends through all areas and battles.
– **Multiplayer scaling**: Enemies now scale based on party size for balanced gameplay. This can be disabled for an easier run.
– **Optional PvE mode**: Invasions can be turned off completely.
– **No server connection**: Uses peer-to-peer networking, so it won’t trigger bans or connect to FromSoftware’s servers.
– **Separate save files**: Co-op progress is saved separately from the main game.

This marks Yui’s second major co-op project in 2025, following a similar mod for *Dark Souls 3* earlier this year. There’s no word yet on what they’ll be working on next, but fans are already hoping for more.

The mod is available now on **Nexus Mods**.
