Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Confirms Hokutomaru as Final Launch Character
SNK has officially revealed Hokutomaru as the final character in the base roster for *Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves*. The announcement was made during the game’s EVO showcase, where fans also got a first look at his updated moveset in a new gameplay trailer.
Hokutomaru, originally from *Garou: Mark of the Wolves*, returns as a faster and more agile fighter, now relying on hand-to-hand combat and shuriken instead of his classic wooden sword. His fighting style blends techniques from his mentors, Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui, combining swift attacks and ranged abilities.
This reveal completes the 17-character launch roster, which includes series regulars like Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Billy Kane, and Rock Howard. Notably, the game will also feature two surprise additions—DJ Salvatore Ganacci and soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
*Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* is set to release on April 24 for PC and consoles. SNK has also confirmed a Season 1 pass, which will bring more fighters post-launch, including Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Chun-Li, Ken, and Mr. Big.
