Pokemon TCG Pocket Reveals New Trading System Details
Pokemon TCG Pocket has unveiled new information about its trading system, which players have eagerly awaited. Trading will allow players to complete their collections, especially as the game’s first expansion, Genetic Apex, offers over 200 cards, focusing on Gen 1 Pokemon and Kanto Gym leaders. Additionally, the Mythical Island mini-set introduced 86 new cards, including five Pokemon ex and Trainer cards.
The trading system will initially be limited to friends and only cards of the same rarity. At launch, trades will be available for cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island sets, with rarities ranging from diamond to crown. Players will also need an item to complete trades, though the specifics of this item remain unclear.
While some players are frustrated with the restriction to trading only with friends, others see it as a measure to prevent misuse of the system. There are also concerns about the item required for trading, with fears it might involve a purchase. Additionally, there’s uncertainty about whether promo cards can be traded.
