Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Celebrate Year of the Snake with Special Mass Outbreak Event
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are hosting a special Mass Outbreak event to celebrate the Year of the Snake. The event, featuring Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper, began on January 9 and will run until January 12, 2025. During this time, trainers will have increased odds of encountering Shiny versions of these snakelike Pokémon.
The Mass Outbreak will see Silicobra appear across all land areas in Paldea, Ekans outbreaks in the Kitakami region, and Seviper outbreaks in the Terarium. Pokémon will range from level 10 to 65, depending on players’ progress in the main story.
To participate, players must connect to the internet, go to Poke Portal, and select “Get Poke Portal News” to trigger the Mass Outbreaks. Additionally, players looking for Shiny Pokémon can increase their odds by making a Shiny Sandwich.
This limited-time event offers an exciting opportunity for players to catch these Pokémon in bulk with boosted Shiny rates.
