Baldur’s Gate 3 announced as the GOTY of The Game Awards 2023
Everyone was a winner. We got to the final moments of the year’s The Game Awards. The night was full of surprises, announcements performance, entertainment, and, of course, the awards. As we near the event’s end, we’re ready for the highest-value ceremony of the evening.
This is right The”Game of the Year. 2023 is absolutely packed with fantastic games. It was difficult to narrow the list down to just six contenders was a challenge, but the winner was Alan Wake II, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Resident Evil 4 as well as the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that ended up at the top of the list. It’s official, Timothee Chalamet has just taken to the stage to announce the winner of this season’s Game of the Year is … Baldur’s Gate 3..
Thank you to the team members working at Larian Studios. Baldur’s Gate 3 received a variety of other honors throughout the evening which included Player’s voice Best Multiplayer, the Best Performance of Neil Newbon as Astarion, as well as the award for Best Community Support.
In our article of the game, we wrote “The magnitude and the scope that is Baldur’s Gate 3 is unlike the other games I’ve seen. […] After a whole year of suffering from the burden of many outstanding games, it’s amazing to me just how higher the Baldur’s Gate 3 stands out over all the other titles. I’m sure that we’ll never have anything like the one we saw in.”
Baldur’s Gate 3 is still to be released on the Xbox Series X/S console, at least that’s what you believed. There was speculation that there would be an announcement about the date of release today, but we didn’t get one. If you go on the Microsoft Store though, Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for buy on Xbox and Xbox 360. So run, run and run. This is finally happening after the shadow dropping throughout the series! It’s only a matter of time before an official acknowledgement will be coming very soon.
