GTA 5 star defends Rockstar as a response to being hit with a hammer
The actor has said that Rockstar did not have anything to do with the incident and it is at the hands of the part of “sick” individuals.
Ned Luke, who played one of the three main characters in GTA V, Michael De Santa played GTA Online on a live stream when his entertainment was disrupted by police.
The video clip was posted online, with Luke getting a call while streaming. After a few minutes, the actor hung up, and then told his viewers “Alright I gotta go, now these ******** have swatted my house, so I’ve gotta go.”
In case you’re unaware of the dangers of swatting, it is a hazardous method for harassment. It is when someone contacts the police and then gives an address to someone, often a lie regarding their being armed or dangerous to ensure that most police officers appear at their doorstep.
This is a disgusting and degenerate act that has plagued the lives of streamers over the years since once an address for a streamer is revealed or available, there’s nothing they can do to prevent this from happening.
Although many viewers of Ned Luke were supportive of the actor, some were furious about Rockstar Games and blamed their security online for the reasons that the number of GTA Online streamers have been kicked out in the past.
The actor didn’t buy it, however, and stood up for Rockstar by saying “This had nothing to do with Rockstar. These ******** leaked my private info years ago and have been doing this s**t since. Anyone’s info is available online if you are sick enough to really wanna find it.”
Thankfully, the issue was solved without any injuries and Luke was able to return to his livestreams and not encounter other issues.
Also, Ned Luke has been suggesting a possible appearance in GTA VI in the near future. GTA initiatives, such as possible DLC expansion of GTA Online and even an appearance as a guest on GTA VI.
It’s unclear if it’s genuine or simply a bid to entertain the people he’s targeting is anybody’s guess However, considering that we’ve seen the reemergence of a number of familiar faces throughout the years, it’s definitely not possible at all.
