Tobey Maguire, and Hugh Jackman to lead Avengers: Secret Wars, says Insider
Marvel’s plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe seemingly up to the wind after the conclusion of Infinity Saga, and rumours of the person who will be in charge of Avengers Secret Warfare at full speed.
While it’s not likely to come out in 2027 at the earliest, Marvel fans are eagerly anticipating returning to the web-based Avengers. With the majority of the main cast in the canon, it remains to be determined which group of characters we’ll be seeing team up. It’s possible that we already know a little bit due to an insider.
Based on a post from MyTimeToShineHello via Twitter it is possible to witness Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man assume the lead characters as in Avengers: Secret War. In reaction to this tweet, the user CanWeGetSomeToast announced that Jackman as well as Maguire will “be the main characters of TVA’s (Time Variance Authority) multi-versal army. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is the preferred character for”the MCU.”
If it is it would mean that Peter Parker’s Spider-Man become the persona of the series, supplanting the former Iron Man. The Spider-Man character has been given an insignificant role in prior Marvel films and the previous Avengers movies, it’ll be fascinating to observe what the difference will be when the web-crawler is in charge.
According to rumours, the MCU could be getting another reboot in the coming Avengers: Secret War, we could see the films follow the comic book’s original material. Also, given recent news reports suggesting that Marvel executives were considering the possibility of bringing back characters like Iron Man as well as Black Widow for an original Avengers, it’s anyone’s idea how the direction of the MCU could unfold.
