Assassin’s Creed Red release date will be announced on the internet, which is ahead of what we were expecting
It seems like the time frame is being set for the much sought-after “Assassin’s Cleared Red” which is a sequel to the series that takes the role of an assassin into Japan.
Although it’s admittedly a huge film, according to Arisa Lagunzad, who is in the brand management department of Ubisoft stated on LinkedIn, Codename Red is expected to turn out to be the “biggest blockbuster for 2024.” The whole year is a long time, yet we’re sure the movie is coming. Ish.
Since the first game, Assassin’s Creed dropped on the scene in 2007 players have been asking for an Assassin’s Creed game set in the feudal era of Japan. It’s after all an era and location that has inspired proper stealthy combat. Furthermore, Japan is an amazing nation and Ubisoft has always succeeded by reimagining certain times and places.
Ubisoft hasn’t announced much information regarding this game to date although if we’re expecting to release it in 2024, a detailed trailer is expected to be released shortly and will allow us to experience more of this dual-character sneaky entry into the series. What we do know, to date, it appears that players play as a shinobi or a ninja while taking off members of a dark group. It’s pretty standard with the norm.
Lagunzad added to the LinkedIn posting “Japan was the most requested history and culture from AC fans” as well as “We are seeking a sponsoring partner for this title Assassin’s Creed Codename RED for next year.” It is believed that Arisa is looking for partners from multi-media who could make money from “podcasts and manga series.'”
Assassin’s Creed is currently riding an upswing of popularity following its release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage which was a reduced-scaled game that has a smaller map as well as a more concise narrative being presented. Mirage transports players to nineteenth-century Baghdad and has received praise for its representation of the period and its cultural ethos of the period.
