Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is the latest computer game installment in Electronic Arts’ Medal of Honor franchise and features new elements to enhance gameplay. We travel with Tommy Conlin – an American naval officer commanding Marine Raider battalions to battle Japanese Imperial forces across the Pacific Ocean.

Pfc Thomas Conlin is the protagonist in this episode; unlike console episodes, you are privy to his life and adventures throughout this journey. Beginning on 20 November 1943, with an explosive prologue that sets in motion an attempted landing on Tarawa Island’s northern coast from which Thomas soon becomes severely incapacitated and loses consciousness.
Everything becomes clear very quickly when, following an introduction and brief sleep in a field training Marine Corps on September 3, 1941, where Thomas, Willy Soldier Simple Willy Commander Frank, and Jeck Bearer meet each other for short conversations on cots in training fields of their Marine Corps training camps.
With an in-depth flashback sequence, players learn the fundamentals of jumping obstacles, melee (with some models featuring detachable bayonets), and shooting range for small arms, explosives, grenades, mortars, and machine guns; followed by a self-medication basics course.
Your platoon has access to medical rescue personnel that restores health 100% every time and offer options during combat, like ordering soldiers to act differently from one another or ordering different behavior of soldiers in battle. Thomas Conlin arrives in Pearl Harbor moments before its infamous attack before embarking on multiple missions throughout Pacific islands before finally awakening in one and having the option to continue his initial assault attempt.
The player can carry two weapons at any one time; these cannot be chosen before starting, but may be traded out when enemies fall; you are also limited to carrying 4 grenades at one time; occasionally some bags will drop more ammunition for you; additionally, your character can use their gun as a melee attack tool too; this feature makes for some challenging gameplay in its early stages!
As in previous games, weapons vary between pistols from Colt (American) and Nambu (Japanese), light machine guns through Thompson submachine gun M1 Garand rifle sniper rifle etc; you will sometimes have to maneuver fixed or retractable objects, like flak cannons or anti-aircraft heavy machine gun Browning; etc.
There are no health packs; instead, players may only call upon their team doctor up to four times during any mission to receive treatments; should your life bar reach zero (assuming all four options haven’t already been used!) your team doctor will automatically treat.
Storage becomes automatic upon passing the checkpoint scenario.
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault features Tommy Conlin as its protagonist – a US soldier belonging to the Marine Corps of the United States (USMC). The single-player mode features 25 levels divided among 7 major missions. At these missions, players will take part in some of the battles from 1942 – 1945 between American forces and Japanese Empire forces during their Pacific campaign. Beginning as an inexperienced novice in training camp to learn the functions of playing, she was then assigned to Pearl Harbor Base where she witnessed its attack by Imperial Japanese Navy on December 7, 1941.
Carlson’s Raid will then occur, an attack against Makin atoll intended to provide diversionary tactics during Guadalcanal’s invasion and subsequent battles there before taking part in clashes that have ensued and culminating in a hard landing and final battle on Tarawa island – the final part of this game!
Contrary to earlier games in the series, during missions, the player rarely works alone. Three teammates with different specializations – from piloting an aircraft with no engine to giving orders in four orders per mission – provide invaluable help in combatting threats by warning of them or alerting players when danger threatens. Another novel feature: this game does not use traditional shooter systems such as medic packs.
When life-points drop below certain thresholds, blood loss occurs rapidly with movements slowing and vision becoming foggy – therefore enabling it to use bandages to stop bleeding until care arrives. Once the player reaches a certain number of points, he or she falls and only has seconds before dying before calling on a physician for medical aid if the doctor is too far. Furthermore, treatments available during missions may only be granted occasionally adding another realistic twist.
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault puts players into the shoes of Private Thomas Conlin, a US Marine assigned to World War II Pacific theater battlefront during the WWII era. Levels in Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault include Pearl Harbor Attack, Makin Island Assault, Guadalcanal Campaign, and Tarawa Battle – with each providing its own distinct experience!
World Viewed from First Person Perspective The world in World of Warplanes can be experienced from first person view; with one level in which players pilot a Douglas SBD Dauntless in an air battle. The action begins during 1940-1941 military training sessions leading up to Pearl Harbor’s Attack (1940-41) before ending at Tarawa (1943).
The prologue of the Game begins with an assault on Tarawa that eventually leads to Granada Island. From here we travel to Hawaii where our assignment on USS Arizona awaits a Japanese attack before reaching Pearl Harbor; thus requiring us to do everything within our power in order to defend ourselves against these enemies.
After joining up, you are assigned to the 2nd Battalion Raiders where you meet friends from camp and begin training for a night assault on Makin Atoll, followed by Guadalcanal where fierce battles must take place against an adversary army before finally moving onto Tarawa for your last mission of the war.
