Ubisoft’s Avatar has finally been given a date for release
Pandora is ecstatic that Ubisoft’s Avatar has finally a new launch window!
Massive Entertainment developed Frontiers of Pandora. The trailer was released in June 2021 and featured a cinematic presentation. Since then, however, we haven’t seen any gameplay.
In March of this year, a report stated that the first gameplay trailer would be released soon. Fans are left to wait for the next installment. You’d have thought that after the box-office success of The Way of Water, released in December 2020, the videogame counterpart would already be on the market.
While we await the first gameplay trailer we do seem to at least have a release date. Push Square reported (via Axios Gaming Stephen Totilo) that a recent Ubisoft earning call suggested Avatar Frontiers of Pandora may be released in March 2024.

It’s still not definitive, but there’s some food for thought. The Ubisoft quarterly earnings call suggested that Assassin’s Creed: Mirgae and the free-to-play shooter XDefiant as well as the infamously-delayed Skull & Bones might also be released during this period.
It is important to note that, even though this report comes from an official source Ubisoft has not confirmed the dates. We should therefore take it with a grain of salt until Ubisoft does. Since we brought up Assassin’s Creed mirage a report recently claimed that the following installment of the series could be released on 12 October 2023.
