Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom How to Remove Attachments
Few of the innovations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom are as exciting and rewarding as the ability for Link to use his Ultrahand or Fuse.
This system rewards you for experimenting, but what happens if the attachment is wrong? What if you want to experiment more? If you’re trying to mount your shield, but an attachment prevents you from doing so, what can you do? You might think that there is no way to remove attachments. But you will have to travel first.
You can remove attachments by going to Tarrey Town on the east end of the map. This is the area north of Zora’s Domain and it’s populated by builders and prospects.
Find the Broken-Apart Shop near the entrance to Tarrey Town and talk with Pelison. For 20 rupees, he will remove any attachments on your shield or weapon.
You will now have 2 items, instead of 1. Do not forget to pick up the items he left. Alison can’t reattach items. But you could easily do it yourself.
