Destiny 2 Season of the Deep will take players under the sea
Destiny 2’s upcoming season is just a few weeks away. Bungie can now start teasing the content that players will be able to enjoy. The majority of information that we have received so far is about the gameplay changes to the weapon meta and exotics. Today, we found out players would be diving deep into Titan’s Ocean.
Season of the Deep will feature a previously vaulted Titan and its vendor Sloane. The TWAB blog (This Week At Bungie) posted today teased the fact that players would be diving underwater. A screenshot of what looks like a sunken building was used to hint at this.
This is not yet known if it will be part of the story or a seasonal event. I wonder whether Guardians are able to swim. Even a small amount of water can instantly kill the player in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Season of the Deep could be the story we need to conquer knee-high waters, the biggest threat facing our Guardians.
We also saw a closer look at the Season Pass Armor for Season of the Deep. It’s not surprising that it is mermaid-focused and one of our coolest sets in a while. The new Season of The Deep Dungeon will launch at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time on the 26th of May. If you want to jump into the new activity as soon as possible, be sure to have all of your equipment and loadouts ready.
