Skyrim mod adds The Witcher 3 signs as visual spectacular spells to Tamriel
Since its release, modders have worked hard to ensure that Skyrim continues to evolve and expand.
Some have tried to change the game with new questlines and dungeons. Others added cheese wheels. A few went so far as to give the Dragonborn ability to call NPCs just by shouting their name or to mount their collection of fish on the walls in their homes.
A new mod is worth checking out if you love to explore the worlds of The Witcher as much as Tamriel.
Have you ever wished that Geralt’s magic abilities could be unleashed in Skyrim?
Modder Kittytail has created a mod that makes Skyrim’s combat resemble Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. They have done projects that make Skyrim combat look like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and add a huge dungeon-crawling adventure at the end of the game.
They’ve used their considerable experience in bringing spells into the game, to recreate Geralt’s signs as magic abilities that are available to Dragonborn.
The mod, as you can see from the video, includes the five hexes that are available to White Wolf when he is hunting monsters. Each hex has a different casting effect, which mirrors its counterpart in The Witcher 3
Quen and Igni are two of the most visually stunning mods. The former wraps your character up in an orange bubble that makes the vanilla games’ wards seem a little shabby, while the latter sends out a cascade that is unlike the flames you learned in Helgen.
It’s important to note that Kittytail has made these “gimmick” abilities easily castable, but they won’t have the same power as the spells at expert level included in the original game, or mods.
You can learn the signs by visiting a blacksmith forge. There, you will be able to combine glow dust and a burned or ruined book.
