Many gamers are having trouble with the PC port of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Some claim that it is performing below their expectations. Stranger of Paradise was designed for consoles, as is the case with many other game releases.
The Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin subreddit (via GGC) has criticized the PC port as “horrendous”. Other gamers on Twitter also pointed out the odd optimization options used. This port is not good for PC and will require big improvements to make it more accessible on gaming computers.

This is not the first time Square Enix has released a poor PC port. Final Fantasy VII Intergrade was released to mixed reviews. A few years ago, Nier Automata was also released on PC to negative reviews. Some patches are expected to make Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin more enjoyable on PC.
Stranger of Paradise – Final Fantasy Origin will be released on March 18th. However, Deluxe Edition buyers get a three-day early entry on March 15. Epic Games offers the PC version of the game, but players might prefer to play the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series versions.
