The 2022 Free-to-Play Shooter Gundam Evolution will be available.
Gundam Evolution will be released worldwide later in the year. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Last night’s State of Play presentation revealed the Free-to-Play shooter. It featured a fan-favourite mobile suit in first-person action.
Gundam Evolution was available in Japan before the State of Play announcement. This is the first chance that the entire world can try it. Although there is no official release date yet for the Free-to-Play shooter, the developers will host a Network Test on PS4/PS5 this Spring to collect feedback from players.
Gundam Evolution Coming to Consoles and PC in 2020
Gundam Evolution will have three modes of play. Here’s a list of all three modes of play in Gundam Evolution, courtesy of The PlayStation blog.
- Point Capture Teams take turns trying to capture iterative control points. To win, players will have to use all their skills or hold on to the line of defence.
- Domination Two teams battle to control three unlocked objectives. It’s a fierce battle of points on an ever-changing battlefield.
- Destruction Teams are split into Attacker and Defender roles and fight to defeat or defend their objectives. This game of suppression or sabotage is a battle of the sexes. Cooperation is key to changing the tide of battle.
Gundam Evolution will soon be available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Keep an eye out for the Network Test, which will occur in Spring.
