ARK 2 RELEASE DATED – HERE’S WHEN SEQUEL FEATURING VIN DIESEL MAY LAUNCH
Ark Survival Evolved developer Studio Wildcard revealed that Ark2 is currently under development. Vin Diesel will play the role of Santiago Da Costa when releases.
Vin Diesel plays the same role as in the Ark animated series, which was also announced along with the unexpected sequel to the survival game.
“ARK II puts players in a new brutal world of primitive survival against beast and man. They must face the ever-present threats from hyper-realistic intelligent dinosaurs and aggressive alien fauna as well as the exotic environments on an unexplored planet. ARK’s epic eons-spanning story about humankind’s evolution will be continued by survivors in this next-generation sandbox survival adventure ,” Studio Wildcard posted on its site.
Ark 2 Release Date
Ark II aims for a 2022 release via PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will be a launch exclusive. It is likely to arrive on PS5 sometime after its initial launch.
Vin Diesel stars in Ark 2 & Ark: The Animated Series
Ark II’s trailer did not feature gameplay, but it was created using the engine and assets of the game.
Vin Diesel plays Santiago, a skilled leader, and warrior. He defends his tribe using a spear, fist, and also an adequate amount of grunting against a pack of hostile humanoid creatures as well as a very angry dinosaur.
Later, the jungle where most of the trailer is set is replaced by a cave with advanced technology. The cave connects the protagonist with his tribe.
The animated series, which features several high-profile actors, is also included in the sequel.
Studio Wildcard and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Director Jay Oliva will collaborate on the 14-episode series. The show will feature Marguerite Bennett (Batwoman and Supergirl) and Kendall Deacon Davis(Halo 4, The Wolf Among Us, and Honor of Kings).
Each episode will last 30 minutes. Here is a list of the actors and characters you can expect to see:

- Malcolm McDowell portrays Senator Lucius Cassius Virilis. He is a manipulative aristocrat in the reign of Caesar Augustus.

- Juliet Mills portrays Chava, a wise healer, and a village councilmember.

- Elliot Page portrays Victoria Walker, a humanitarian aid worker who is idealistic and the wife of Helena Walker.

- Ragga Ragnars portrays Queen Sigrid, a bellicose Viking warlord from the 10th Century.

- David Tennant portrays Sir Edmund Rockwell, an eccentric 19th-century scientist with dark ambitions.

- Alan Tudyk portrays The Captain, a gritty buccaneer who sails the dangerous waters of the ARK.

- Michelle Yeoh portrays Meiyin, a 3rd-century Chinese rebel leader. She is known on the ARK for her reputation as “Beast Queen”

- Ron Yuan portrays Han Li, a Chinese rebel leader of the third Century and brother to Meiyin.

- Russell Crowe plays Kor the Prophet, an eccentric “dino-whisperer” from a time long before recorded history.
- And Vin Diesel is playing 24th-century’ Mek’-pilot, gearhead, & freedom-fighter Santiago.
Vin Diesel’s involvement in Ark 2 and Ark: The Animated Series goes beyond his role as Santiago Da Costa.
After joining Studio Wildcard’s President of Creative Convergence as President, he also serves as an executive producer. So you can expect plenty of Vin Diesel in Ark’s near future.
