VERSATILE NEW RTS LINE WAR COMING SOON TO EARLY ACCESS
Line War will be available on Steam Next Fest in February, and Early Access later. It aims to revitalize multiplayer strategy through streamlined gameplay. You might be familiar with the Command & Conquer board game, but you should not assume too much.
Line War will combine elements of wargame, wargame and real-time tactics in a way that is accessible for both veterans and newcomers.
It is based on the concept of drawing unit paths. This allows for simple deployment of complex moves and tactics, creating command line, flanking your enemies, and more.
The strategy layer was also designed for simplicity, with only one playable faction ensuring perfectly balanced matches. There are only two resources to worry about – Capital or Energy.

You might be apprehensive about the simplicity of the game. However, the randomly generated maps will provide endless variety. The unique picking phase allows players to choose their starting points, which adds depth to the strategy layer.
The game is not yet ready for release but you can wishlist it on steam to see it grow. The roadmap has a lot of things in it, including technologies, single player, FFA, and 2v2/3v3 play.
