Dying Light 2 The Lazarus
This approach is only possible if you complete the main quest beyond the point where you leave Old Villedor. I was a part of the Old Villedor Survivors and helped them defeat the Peacekeepers. This meant that Aitor wasn’t too happy when we encountered him in the tunnels.
Despite him taking a beating from the game’s big bad, it doesn’t affect your chances of obtaining The Lazarus artifact.
After you have completed the main story and reached the Peacekeepers ship in Central Loop, just before you need to climb the stairs to speak to Matt, Aitor will be being carried on a stretcher. This will automatically start a sidequest named after him.
You’ll find that Aitor needs herbs to keep fighting for his life. Follow the marker. He will direct you to a healer on Culvert Island who may be able help.
As part of another side quest, I had protected Culvert Island from a Renegade attack. However, I am not sure if this played a role in my ability to save Aitor.
After a few protests by her partner, knock on the door of the healer and she’ll tell your that Aitor can only be saved if you harvest the petals from three Recluse plants. They are found nearby, so a marker will tell you where to find them. However, they only grow at night. You can easily identify them by their distinct glow and long white petals.
The healer mentions that the small petals of the Recluse can heal but its large petals can poison. This is something to be aware of.
You’ll be able to pick which petals you want to give Aitor when you return to the doctor. You can heal Aitor with the small petals if you wish to obtain Dying Light 2: The Lazarus weapon.
Later on, while completing the Broadcast quest we were given a side quest called The Black Widow. This sent us to New Dawn Park’s Fisheye.
Aitor was located on the left-hand side of the building, and we found him upon entering. You may be able find him near the entrance. The side quest that doesn’t directly involve him is not required.
Talking with him will initiate a dialogue which automatically rewards you the Lazarus weapon. Aitor doesn’t seem to be bitter about his Peacekeepers defeat from Old Villedor. Instead, he focuses on his personal drama and ignores it.
The blades attached to artifact knuckledusters make them a bit more sharp than their peers as shown in the above screenshots.
This is all you need to know about The Lazarus artifact weapons in Dying light 2. Here’s more information about the length game.
