Uncharted’s director working on a Jak and Daxter movie

Tom Holland expressed an interest in making a Jak and Daxter film. However, it turned out that Ruben Fleischer, Uncharted director is currently in talks to make that happen. Although an actual Jak and Daxter movie has not been made, Sony and Fleischer are currently in discussions to make it happen.

Fleischer didn’t mention anything more than that. We don’t know if the potential movie will be live action like Uncharted or if it will follow the CG animation route Ratchet & Clank took. Holland said that he wanted to make Jak & Daxter a creepy, live-action movie similar to certain A24 movies. But that’s only the Spider-Man actor sharing his thoughts.

While it is uncertain if Jak and Daxter will be seen on the big screen, PlayStation fans would love to see them again. Although we have seen re-releases on PS3 and PS4, we have not seen any new Jak and Daxter games since Jak and Daxter The New Frontier.
