Warzone Players Request Counter To Incendiary Rounds

Thanks to regular updates by Raven Software, and a slight delay in Season 2, the current Warzone state is slowly improving.

Players ask the developer to include a counter for an annoying ammunition type. The Vanguard integration brought in Incendiary Rounds, which have seen a massive increase in popularity due to their increased damage output.

The idea of a counter-to Warzone’s fiery shots is a great way to improve the current metagame.

One player suggests the idea, calling out Raven Software and describing the ammunition’s “annoying” nature. The player returns to Warzone and claims that Incendiary ammunition makes them want to quit playing.

Other community members quickly agreed with this sentiment, with many requesting a hard counter to decrease the fire’s effectiveness. A Perk like “EOD should counter fire round damage and prevent plating being interrupted by the damage over time” was suggested by one player.

If you asked them, most Warzone players would welcome an open-ended counter to Incendiary round with open arms. This would encourage players to try different ammunition types, which would provide some variety in attachment selection. Raven Software is listening to players’ feedback, and Season 2 is coming up, so there will likely be a counter or a nerf.
