Dying light 2: Release Date, Map, and Trailer
Choices and Consequences
Dying Light 2 will have a heavy emphasis on player choice throughout the game. Each decision you make can have major or minor consequences that can alter the world around you. They can even alter which ending you get to the story and how your version of The City evolves. You can find out more about them in our Choices and Consequences explained guide.
So far, there have been quite a few monsters confirmed to be in the game. These monsters were once humans that had been infected by the virus. They lurk in the dark shadows during the day and come out at night as UV light can kill them. Some of the monsters are at the start of their evolution from human to beast and a few have avoided sunlight enough to become deadly foes. If you’re not already afraid of the dark, this game may change that.
Dying Light 2 is an action role-playing game from Techland and is the sequel to Dying Light. Set 20 years after the first game, the virus has taken over and The City is one of the last human settlements. The infected monsters are closing in and the settlement is experiencing serious internal conflict. It’s down to you to decide the fate of The City, but will you make it better or worse? From the release date to co-op mode, here’s everything we know so far about the game.
Map
As detailed in this Dying 2 Know episode, the map is split into several zones within 2 regions. Essentially, this is quite a big map for you to explore and it’s not just at one level either. With Parkour being a huge part of the original game and this one, the map will be able to be explored at multiple levels.
