Back 4 Blood update – 1.05 patch hotfix sorts out ghost bullets

Turtle Rock Studios has resolved one of the major issues Back 4 Blood players have been having recently. We are acknowledging that have been experiencing issues with ghost bullets, especially in high latency environments. This hotfix will be helpful in the interim, while a complete solution is still in development.

Turtle Rock Studios stated: “The issue of ghost bullets in high latency situations is a popular topic lately, and we wanted a quick fix to address it. We are still looking for a solution to performance issues and hope to resolve them as soon as we can. For people experiencing performance problems on their PCs, you can temporarily run the game in DX11 while we work out a solution.

Bug Fixed Patch 1.05

Developer Note: This issue can occur in less than ideal networking conditions. We have increased the amount of testing that we do in less than ideal network conditions to make sure bugs like these are not overlooked by players.
